Freedom of movement for little sleepers.

Low beds are a great way to encourage autonomy and freedom in the early developmental stages of your child’s life.

With the Birch Montessori Floor Bed, your child can enter and leave independently, letting them regulate their sleep according to their body's needs. This freedom of movement helps children learn about physical boundaries and develop spatial awareness while staying safe thanks to the bed's low height.

What makes this floor bed different from a mattress on the ground? This toddler bed is low but still lifts the mattress from the ground to stop mildew from growing!

The low frame is exactly what we needed — my daughter can get in and out on her own, and it barely sits off the floor so I’m not worried about a big fall. The birch surface is smooth to the touch and feels solid when she rolls around.

My two-year-old figured out how to climb in and out on her own within a day, which has made mornings so much easier. The birch wood frame is sturdy enough that I don't worry about it tipping, and it sits low enough that a tumble just means a soft roll onto the rug.

My two-year-old climbs in and out on her own now, and the low profile gives me total peace of mind when she rolls around at night. The birch wood feels smooth and sturdy—no sharp edges anywhere, and assembly took less than ten minutes with just a screwdriver.
