2 inch legs can be used for the bottom of any Luce Shelf variant to make it accessible to infants. "To Grow" or "Infant Shelf" variants of the Luce Shelf come with 2 inch legs already.
We swapped the 4-inch legs for the 2-inch ones to lower the shelf for our toddler, and the swap took less than five minutes with a screwdriver. He can now reach his board books without me hovering, which is a small win I didn’t expect. The set’s sizing options make it easy to adjust as he grows.
