A first shelf designed for movement and discovery
Sized just right for infants and young toddlers, this low, open shelf invites your child to explore, choose, and interact with their environment from the very beginning.
At this stage, accessibility matters. A low, stable surface allows children to reach for toys and books independently while also offering gentle support as they begin to pull up, stand, and cruise.
Why a low shelf matters
- Encourages independence: Open, reachable shelves allow infants to access and return items on their own
- Supports movement: A stable structure provides a natural place to pull up and practice standing
- Promotes focus and curiosity: A limited, visible selection helps children engage more deeply with their environment
